Meet Your Trainers
Who We Are: The Devildog Canine Training Team
At Devildog Canine, our team is built on a foundation of military discipline, deep canine knowledge, and a relentless commitment to results. Led by Michael Parker, a veteran owner and the primary decision maker, our trainers serve as advocates for both dogs and their handlers. Every member of our team focuses on clear communication, whether working with local owners in Bloomington-Normal, Peoria, Champaign-Urbana, and Springfield or serving specialized needs nationwide.
Our trainers are selected not just for their technical skill, but for their integrity and ability to build lasting relationships with both dogs and their people. We limit intake to ensure quality over quantity, capping boot camps at three dogs per trainer. From behavior modification to scent detection and service dog training, each member upholds our four pillars: integrity, commitment, honor, and quality. Together, we’ve saved countless "death row" dogs and changed the lives of veterans, first responders, and survivors through Levi’s Legacy. Meet the people who make every transformation possible.
Our Approach
Our Philosophy: Teamwork, Advocacy, and Balanced Training
The Devildog Canine team believes that lasting change is only possible when trainers, owners, and dogs work together as partners. Our trainers are more than instructors—they are advocates who bridge the gap between canine needs and owner expectations. With specialized experience in E-collar communication and balanced training methods, our team delivers results where others fall short, especially for dogs facing reactivity, aggression, or behavioral euthanasia.
Whether you meet us at our professional facility on Industrial Park Drive in Normal IL, join a Tuesday night veterans’ class, or connect virtually, you’ll feel the difference our team makes. We’re not just trainers; we’re mentors, guides, and community builders committed to the highest standards in the region. Our national reach for service dog training and upcoming expansions in Georgia and Memphis reflect our growing team’s dedication to excellence and service.
